Need To Make A Decision Fast

This morning I woke up tired thinking about I'm going to do. Every since I was laid off from work I'v done nothing but sit around the house getting fat. Should I go back to school or try looking for a job. School is a very good idea, but; the only problem "MY AGE". Can I compete with the younger generation? I don't even want to think about settling for a lower paying job right now, because to me it's like starting over. And besides I have to many bills. Guess I'll weigh my two option and decide in a few day's. Anyone out there have any comment on what I should do.
