Dashonn Magette, 24, of the 3600 block of South Rhodes Avenue, is charged with a shooting that left 3 injured. He was trying to settle a score with another man after a fight last week, by, shooting the other man, and injured two innocent bystanders in the process, police said.
He was scheduled to appear in Cook County Central Bond Court on Monday to face three charges of aggravated battery with a firearm following the shooting midday Thursday, police said.
Man critically hurt
A 26-year-old South Chicago man wounded Tuesday night near the Dan Ryan Expressway, authorities said.
He was with friends in the 7900 block of South Wabash Avenue when a fight broke at about 9 p.m., police said.
He was shot multiple times but suffered graze wounds to the head and his upper back, police said.
Man murdered at beauty shop in south suburbs
Daniel Moreno 23-year-old, of the 3200 block of Halsted Avenue, was shot to death at a south-suburban beauty shop Tuesday night, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office.
